LIVING AREAS
An attractive open plan lounge and dining area with french doors that lead out onto the sun-deck and garden outside. There is a remote controlled ceiling fan to keep you cool on warm summer days and a stylish wall mounted electric fire in case of chilly summer nights. It also has a 49” wall mounted, 4K flat screen TV with all the essential channels including BT Sport and Netflix to keep everyone amused once the sun has gone down. There is also unlimited fibre broadband WiFi internet access and a good selection of books, games and DVDs. Each room also has its own electric heater with adjustable levels of heat output.
There is an extendable dining table and six chairs for meal times (unless you'd rather eat 'al fresco' out on the sun deck!). A high chair is available.

KITCHEN
The fully fitted quality kitchen has an integrated fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
Other appliances include an oven, grill, kettle, microwave oven, toaster, cafetiere and all the essential kitchen utensils, pots and pans.

BEDROOMS
There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. Each bedroom has its own built in wardrobe space and full length mirrors.

OUTDOORS
It's just a 3 minute walk through the dunes to the beach and a 5 minute walk in the other direction into Croyde village with all the pubs, shops and restaurants!
As well as the lawned garden there is a lovely south westerly facing sun deck that gets full afternoon sun and views of the setting sun. There is an outdoor table and chairs as well as a picnic bench. The heated outdoor shower is fantastic for rinsing off all the sand and salt you may have accumulated during the day! Another bonus of this property is the storage space beneath the lodge, enough room for surfboards, bikes, barbecue and charcoal as well as all your beach-gear
The gravel drive has parking space for at least 2 cars.

LOCATION
WALK TO: Croyde! The go to destination for families, friends, couples, ramblers, dog walkers, and surfers… the list is endless.
A charming, unspoilt village on the North Devon coast, Croyde has a choice of traditional pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlours and surf shops. The village centre is a delightful cluster of unspoilt period and chocolate box cottages.
The award winning sandy beach is perennially popular with hardy surfers looking for waves, and there are also rock pools and sand dunes, which are a must for young intrepid explorers. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volleyball, kayaking and horse riding are all on your doorstep. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.
There is so much to do in and around Croyde with various festivals throughout the year, lots of local pubs have live music throughout the year, The Thatch and The Kings Arms at Georgeham tend to have the most music on, both usually having a decent band play on Friday night.
Looking forward, the Croyde Ocean Triathlon is held inJuly, this hotly contested Olympic length triathlon attracts hundreds of athletes each year, make sure you enter early!

CYCLE (or drive) TO: A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great, or cycle round to Crow Point through the fascinating Braunton Marshes passing a delightful thatched Linhay or cattle shelter built almost 200 years ago. Bird watchers will be in their element here. Cyclists can also enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO: Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. The public beach is around two minutes walk from the holiday park it is very safe for bathing and at low tide there is a large expanse of sand with rock pools to keep children & adults (!) happy for hours searching for crabs and shrimps.

We are a quiet holiday destination yet only seven miles from Plymouth City Centre.
Take the water taxi to Plymouth’s historic Barbican, where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for America. We love wandering along the cobbles, browsing in the antiques shops and independent restaurants and obligatory fish and chip shops.
Continue on to the Hoe, if you are feeling energetic climb to the top of the iconic lighthouse – Smeatons Tower and be rewarded with 360 views, or take a dip on the 1930’s sea water lido. Beatles fans can sit where John and all sat to have their picture taken whilst making their Magical Mystery Tour film.
Play Golf at Staddon Heights – a stunning cliff top course with views over Cornwall to Dartmoor
The South West coast path runs along the bottom of our holiday Park – explore Devon’s dramatic coast line in both directions – you can even stop for a pub lunch along the way!

Accommodation - the lodge is fully double glazed and centrally heated throughout, making it a cosy retreat at all times of the year. There is a a large, wall mounted TV, plus DVD and CD players and the three seater, leather sofa and large arm chairs are extremely comfortable! The modern fireplace and attractive,... contemporary dining furniture are complemented by matching side tables, large coffee table and a well stocked bookcase. We also have a range of walking guides, maps, DVDs, CDs and games, for both children and adults.

The kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, grill and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils etc, iron, board and vacuum cleaner. There is also a very useful cupboard with hooks and shelves for coats, bags and boots.

The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, shelving, drawers, a dressing table and lights above the bed. The en-suite has a walk in shower, hand basin, toilet, shaving point and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2 has two full sized single beds, wardrobe, drawers, cupboards and lights above each bed.

A separate main bathroom consists of bath with power shower, hand basin, toilet, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Verandah - From the lounge, French windows lead onto the sunny decking, which is south facing. Flowers, garden furniture and lovely views make it an ideal place for everyone to relax. Young children can play safely too, as the decking is completely enclosed. At the side of the decking, there is a small garden with a BBQ area and our own parking.

Families are most welcome at the lodge and there is a fantastic adventure playground, a special picnic area and also a shallow river pool, together with a large playing field, Lakeland pub, shop and laundrette. Many beautiful walks begin straight from the door of our lodge and you can enjoy cycling, forest trails, bird watching, fishing and so much more.

Wildlife - A variety of woodland birds visit our bird table, whilst buzzards often circle above. Deer, red and grey squirrels, foxes, sheep and ducks may be seen but our favourite visitors are, of course, the badgers!

The Lodge benefits from two separate terrace areas, one at the front and the other on the side of the property. From the lounge the patio door leads out to the private decking area at the front and the main entrance has a larger patio area for dining al fresco with comfortable seating. From both terraces you can sit and admire the tranquil River Spey and the spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains while you enjoy a glass of wine or enjoy the peacefulness of the location.

We also provide towels and linen during your stay at no extra cost as well as essential toiletries.

Cragganmore Lodge is located within the picturesque Aviemore Holiday Park which is very close to the village centre (approx 10mins walk). The Park provides a bar with entertainment on some of the nights as well as lunch and dinner menus, a nail and beauty salon, a children’s play area and inclusive free fishing rights on the river Spey which contains mainly salmon and trout. There is also a laundrette on site (fee payable).

Aviemore village boasts a vast array of shops from Tesco and M&S supermarkets, to local butcher, bakers, retro sweet shop and outdoor shops. There is also a good selection of restaurants if you don’t wish to cook at the Lodge and plenty of vibrant bars for your evening entertainment, all within walking distance from the Lodge. The railway station is a 10 minute walk from the lodge. Inverness is 30 miles north of Aviemore by car.

For the more adventurous, Aviemore is a hub of different levels of activities. Landmark outdoor adventure park which is roughly 6 miles from the lodge for kids of all ages (Tesco vouchers are accepted here), golfing, hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing, kayaking, tree adventure climbing within the Rothiemurchus estate in Cairngorm National Park and the surrounding areas. Rothiemurchus is adjacent from the Lodge itself.

Our ABI Ashcroft is located at Aviemore Holiday Park, a 10 min walk from the train station and the centre of Aviemore which is a busy thriving community, there is an onsite restaurant/bar and the site is only a 5 min walk to the nearest Italian restaurant ,Indian restaurants and chip shop.

The accommodation comprises a comfortable open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors out to the decking area, lounge area has large L shaped sofa ample seating for 6 also with a 32" flat screen TV, freesat box and a DVD player, the lounge also incorporates a wall mounted electric heater with living flame option for that cozy glow even when fire not required to be on. Dining area has table and seats for 4. The well appointed kitchen has a gas cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, integrated microwave and integrated fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and pots, pans, glasses and utensils, everything that you will need to make meals for all your family needs.

Aviemore Holiday Park is based closed to the city centre and offers access to all local services and amenities including restaurants, hotel, post office, bus transport, train station, fishing, bike hire, golf, tennis and bowls. There is also a great convenience store not too far from the site. The famous river Spey runs through the site and reasonably priced fishing permits are available from reception.

There is a coin operated washing machine and drier on site also a beauty and therapy salon beside the reception.

The area is great for lovers of the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen will be impressed by the spectacular scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice here. Aviemore hosted a very highly rated golf course, and there are several others in the vicinity.
