Nestling in individual secluded woodland glades, these attractively furnished lodges sit in the National Forest Centre’s 154-acre site, a sustainably managed area. The Forest Centre offers various activities which are at an extra cost and must be booked in advance. The wildlife is abundant and lake fishing 0.5 miles away (at cost), way marked walks, cycle hire, falconry displays and a restaurant are just some of the Centre’s attractions, whilst a myriad places of interest lie within easy reach. Birch Lodge can accommodate a hospital bed and hoist/specialist equipment if required, and all lodges have some special adaptations for the disabled, making them ideal for groups and families with or without special needs.
