Pets: 2 Pets permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

The Shepherds Hut has recently been refitted and is powered by gas and Solar panels giving hot water and cooking facilities, and enough electric to charge your mobile phones. With double glazing and a gas fire. Ideal for those visits in nippy Spring and Autumn.

A compact but fully fitted kitchen with a fridge, cooker and hob. A sink with hot and cold water and all kitchen crockery and utensils supplied.

There is comfortable double bed, which can be made up to two singles if required, with a window view of countryside in front.
And a cosy eating area.

The Bathroom offers a shower and toilet.

This exceptional lodge is incomparable to other rental properties on Golden Sands Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren, being twice the size of many others and boasting an unrivalled location with distant views across the Exe estuary towards Exmouth. It is privately owned and managed to a high standard. There are just 7 lodges on the Tree Tops development and Steve and Adria own two of them. They are often staying on the park and so are on hand to help in any way.

Please note that for insurance purposes the whole TT2 area is now designated as non smoking, including the decked area and parking area. For the same reason, no more than 4 people are permitted to stay or visit at any time.

There is a hill up to the lodge, which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. However, parking for 2 vehicles is directly accessible to the lodge.
Please also note that there are 3 steps up to the deck from ground level. Once on the deck however, all the accommodation is on one level.

The lodge, TT2, is spacious, light and contemporary with open-plan living/dining/kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, one en suite, plus a family bathroom and utility/laundry/ cloakroom, all tastefully furnished with double glazing and central heating.

The living/dining areas have comfortable sofas and chairs with matching occasional furniture, wall-mounted TV/DVD, Bluetooth built-in speaker, fireplace with electric stove, well-stocked bookcase, built-in storage, dining table and seating.
The patio door opens onto a decked area to the front and side with a table and seating for outside dining, along with deck chairs and occasonal furniture.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with built-in double oven/grill/hob,extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher and 50/50 fridge/freezer plus an island/ breakfast bar and large built-in pantry.
There is also plenty of kitchenware and cooking utensils provided.

DAWLISH WARREN

Dawlish Warren itself boasts an extensive beach with golden sands, a nature reserve, a golf club and a selection of traditional, family dining, shopping and entertainment venues, all within a ten minute walk. There are numerous car parking facilities if you prefer to drive.

There are also many sporting opportunities both on and off the water near here including cycling/cycle hire, sailing, golf and fishing to name but a few.

Catch the ferry from Starcross across to Exmouth to enjoy multiple family entertainment venues and miles of golden beaches.

Further on from Exmouth are the attractive seaside towns of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth with it's famous donkey sanctuary.

There are also many other places of interest to visit near the Warren, including the amazing Powderham Castle, with it's beautiful deer park, which hosts various music/food and other events throughout the year, including Bear Gryll's Go Wild festival.

Another popular attraction is the famous railway which runs from Exeter all along the coast through Dawlish Warren along the English Riviera passing through places such as Dawlish, the traditional seaside town famous for it's black swans.
The trains continue along the coast, are regular and great for avoiding traffic jams in busy periods.

This area is central for visiting all the key locations of the English Riviera, such as Torquay, Paignton, Cockington, Babbacombe and Brixham.

Further down the coast is Kingswear and Dartmouth, both stunning locations.

The beauty of the River Dart and Dartmouth can be also be visited by booking the famous Round Robin...a trip by steam train departing from Paignton, then ferry, river boat and open top bus.

Haldon forest is just a few miles from the Warren and is a beautiful place with a Go Wild adventure centre and multiple walking and cycling routes.

Also the stunning landscapes of both Exmoor and Dartmoor are gems not to be missed along with seeing the wild ponies in their natural environment. The famous Tors on Dartmoor host multiple sporting/climbing events throughout the year. Wonderful waterfalls and walking opportunities to enjoy all year round.
