The name of the Pods are given after the place where we live the childhood and continuing our life at present.
Our comfortable en-suite Pod has a small double bed however it is a little bit narrower than a standard double (all bed linen provided). The kitchen area is equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster - crockery, cutlery and towels also provided.
Our shower-room is fully equipped however, due to the curved roof of our pod head room is a bit limited! Tall people beware.
The pods are well insulated, the patio doors and the rear opening window have double glazing and there is electric radiators heating in the kitchen/living area for year-round comfort.

This chalet is located in Roybridge. Ben Nevis and Lochaber Geopark reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Highland Soaps and Great Glen Water Park.

Treetops is newly built (finished in Spring 2022) and sleeps 6 people offering luxury self-catering accommodation. With three luxury bedrooms comprising the master bedroom which features a king-sized bed and fitted wardrobes and cupboards and en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a double bedroom offering a relaxing space with built in wardrobes and storage. The twin-bedded room comprises of two single beds with overhead lockers for storage. The family bathroom comprises a large shower cubicle. The light and airy open-plan living accommodation, which is split into three zones, a fully fitted kitchen and dining area with table and seating for 6 in front of full-length sliding doors overlooking the forest. The lounge area offers relaxing seating with a log burning stove for when the nights get chilly. Again, another set of full-length sliding doors offer forest views and access on to the decking area. Tastefully furnished throughout Treetops really is a very special place.

Outside there is ample parking on a private drive to the property which enjoys an elevated position with decked area and seating for alfresco dining. There is also a separate fully fitted BBQ grill cabin complete with sauna and to the side of the decking there is an outside hot tub to sit in and relax whilst enjoying the forest views or looking at the stars. The surrounding forest offers family friendly walks, deer, foxes, and badgers are regularly spotted. If you are prepared to sit quietly and share a few peanuts on the bird table you will almost certainly be visited by reds squirrels, jays, nuthatches, woodpeckers, dunnocks to name but a few.

This southwest corner of Scotland boasts 300km of coastlines with sandy bays, dense forests, an abundance of wildlife, and some of the darkest skies in the UK. The area offers something for everyone, whether you want an action-packed break enjoying mountain biking in forests or down quite country lanes, golfing, water sports, canoeing or sailing, fishing, shooting or simply time to kick back and relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside with its forests, lochs and wildlife or spending the days exploring the area with its quaint little towns, castles, Abbeys, and gardens. There are plenty of activities for children including Dalscone, Mabie Farm Park and the Cocoa Bean Chocolate Factory to name only a few. Rockcliffe and Kippford can easily be reached via an approximate ½ hour walk on the forest tracks to the side of the lodge where you can enjoy a meal or drink in the Anchor or Mariner overlooking the waterfront. Nearby Colvend has a small village shop with a wider variety of amenities in Dalbeattie (4 miles).

What an amazing lodge. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. Went the extra mile to make my husband’s 60th birthday more special. The facilities are second to none and the setting is just amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had an incredible weekend at Treetops thanks to the first class standard of the accommodation and facilities. Careful attention has been paid to every detail in the cabin from luxurious duvets to charcoal for the BBQ hut. The setting is beautiful and Sue was the perfect hostess. Since returning we’ve been recommending the cabin to family and friends.

Had the most relaxing week at Treetops. We didn’t venture far by choice as there’s lots to do around the area, but we had the most relaxing peaceful week and enjoyed the serenity. The owners are are so lovely and you can see the hard work and dedication that has been put into the lodge. The lodge itself has everything you need at your fingertips and more. We will hopefully be back soon.

Fantastic lodge with everything you could possibly wish for and great hosts! We made good use of all the facilities at the lodge itself including outdoor kitchen, hot tub, sauna and bbq etc. One of the best things was the complete silence and darkness at night. The sky on a clear night is stunning – shooting stars all around!!! Lovely forest walks from doorstep down into Kippford where there are 2 pubs and a cafe/gift shop. Pretty harbour and beach walks. The local town of Dalbeattie has everything you need, pubs, takeaways, cafe, shops, supermarkets etc. Castle Douglas a slightly larger town not far and also Dumfries itself just a 30 minute drive! Not far to walk to Rockliffe or Sandyhills again lovely scenery and many hours rock-pooling. Many places to visit a short drive away. Red Kite feeding station is a must and also Raiders Road and the Otter Pools! Something for everyone! Fantastic area for walking running cycling or just to relax and potter about. Amazing holiday, can’t wait to return to the lodge and the area itself!

A luxurious and authentic log cabin with a forest as your garden and beautiful beaches a mere walk away. Our stay at Treetops was nothing short of perfect. On the rainy days we explored local forests, which were the most magical forests we had ever seen. On the nice days we explored the beaches and lochs along with our paddle boards. The cabin lacks nothing and provides everything. The hosts were fabulous, accommodating and exceptionally helpful. We all came home from our stay at treetops feeling like our own homes were very inadequate compared to the attention to detail and facilities the cabin provide! Beautiful cabin, exceptional hosts, superb location.

We stayed at Treetops week commencing the 29th July wow what can I say everything was amazing from the accommodation to the hot tub and the amazing barbecue hut with sauna it was a much needed week away. the owner was very helpful and welcoming when we got there also. Lovely walks through the woods from the cabin down to the local village. Hopefully we can book again really soon .

Superb! The accommodation is wonderful; excellently appointed, very clean, and wonderfully located. Perfect for a relaxing, peaceful escape. The BBQ hut and sauna are a brilliant idea well thought out, and the hot tub immaculately maintained. The kitchen is spacious and bedrooms comfortable. Forest trails lead straight from the accommodation and there are stunning walks down to the coast, as well as easy access into Dalbeattie forest for great biking. The owners are lovely, and I’m sure would be on hard to resolve any problems if they occurred, but we had nothing but a perfect holiday. It’s a perfect retreat, with wonderful peace and only the sounds of nature to hear. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The tiny house can sleep up to four guests. Two guests on a king-size loft bed and two on a hand-made pull-out double bed. The tiny house boasts a kitchen equipped with everything you need, including a sage coffee machine; a lounge with a unique hand-crafted dining area; and a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. In addition to your own private wood-fired roll top bath, there is a hot tub for you to get the full relaxation experience in! The hot tub is shared with our other guests at the steading, but we have created a schedule for you to book a private slot during your stay and it is situated out of sight from the cabin to keep your privacy. The tiny house is located on a small steading nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms, on the edge of beautiful Ballater. As you enter you will see an old stone building and a newly landscaped wildflower garden. It has been planted with native wildflowers and will provide a habitat for local wildlife.

At the steading, we are trying to build unique, low-impact sustainable holiday accommodations, with high-quality design and materials for our guests. The tiny house is newly built and 100% finished. However, you may notice other projects on the property which are not completed to the same level as the tiny house, though, this should not impact or disturb you during your stay, whatsoever.

The tiny house is perfectly situated to access all that the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside have to offer. Walking trails, hiking, golf, mountain biking, skiing and other outdoor activities are all on your doorstep.

The accommodation is located a mile and a half to Ballater. You can either drive or walk along the much loved 7 bridges walk to get to the village. Here you can find a selection of café’s, restaurants and pubs, or possibly a bit of local independent shopping. If you want to visit the Queen, Balmoral Estates is a stone’s throw away. Balmoral and Royal Lochnagar Whiskey distillery are only 6 miles away. Also close by is the Historic Town of Braemar.

Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote Glamping's Straw Trailer was a pandemic upcycling project where we transformed a rusty disused bail trailer base to create a bespoke six-man unit with two double beds and two single beds.

This quaintly decorated trailer comes with all the internal (toilet, shower, full kitchen, sofa, table and wood burner) and external (BBQ, fire pit and sheltered table) amenities you would want for a delightful digital-detox staycation for families and groups of friends - add one of our four wood-burning hot tubs at an extra cost to make it the perfect stay!

No excessive noise after 11 pm.
Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs.
Hot tubs are for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight, subject to availability and at an additional charge.

The hot tub is for sole use and is an additional charge depending upon the size of hot tub required i.e. £25 for 2 person, £30 for 4 person and £35 for 6 person tub. They need to be pre booked as there is no particular tub assigned to a certain unit.

A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more.
This is our only winterised option - available all year with a wood burner and sheltered decking area to keep you toasty during Scotland’s snowy winters.
The unit sleeps 6 adults max - no exceptions. However, eight people can book if at least two are children under 5 and sleep on the sofa bed.
