Red Stag and An Caisteal are Portnellan's premier 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 5 star chalets which have been built adjacent to one another and specifically as holiday accommodation on the Portnellan Estate.

Both chalets are a mirror image and are spread over 2 floors and spanning nearly 210m2 these magnificent chalets are perfect for all group sizes up to 8 people.

From a private car park located beside the chalet the entrance is served by a ramp with Italian tiles leading to a triple glazed entrance door. Step into the chalet and the entrance hallway has a utility room off with separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Making your way through the ground floor hallway leads to 3 incredibly spacious bedrooms with ensuite facilities.

The master bedroom is furnished with a super king size bed, bedside tables with reading lights, USB ample wardrobe space and vanity area. Leading from the bedroom is a large fully tiled ensuite bathroom with shower over jacuzzi bath. The bedroom is provided with two leather arm chairs with coffee table and incredible triple glazed floor to ceiling windows allow you either to sit or lie in bed in comfort and solitude whilst you enjoy the stunning views over the cascading Ben More burn waterfall which flows immediately outside.

Further down the hallway are two more extensive sized bedrooms again with ample wardrobe space and vanity area, one twin with two single beds and one king size double both with shower rooms.

All beds and mattresses are hotel grade with 2000 spring, pocket sprung with Cashmere top laid with 100% goose down Messentex duvets and pillows (non allergenic man made fabric duvets and pillows can be provided upon request) Egyptian cotton bed linen, soft towels, bath robes, slippers and eye mask.

All floors downstairs are heated with thermostat controls in each room for total control on the ambient temperature within the bedroom giving you the perfect room temperature for a great nights sleep. All windows are triple glazed and the comfort of the chalet is enhanced even more by a fully controllable 'Nibe' central heating system and hot water system that is supplied by an air source heat pump and controlled by a digital thermostat.

Upstairs is connected by either a hand made Beech wood stairway or for anyone who would rather not tackle the stairs, there is an internal elevator.

Located off the upstairs hallway is both the fourth bedroom consisting of a king size double bed and ensuite shower room.

The open plan living, dining and kitchen area are also located off the upstairs hallway. Walk through to this incredibly spacious and extremely comfortable room and you will be stopped in your tracks by this wonderful living space. A bespoke slate black Ashley Ann kitchen with solid 'Silastone' granite worktop and all modern conveniences. Twin kitchen sinks with boiling water 'Quokker' tap and a slate black dining table that can seat 10 people comfortably. The area flows through in a 'L' shaped form to a living area with two individual seating areas. One area is furnished with sofas surrounding a 65" LED SMART TV with full online facilities and Blu Ray DVD while the other area is made comfortable by being focused around a glass frontage wood burning stove and large patio door and window where you will gaze with astonishment at how magical the unrestricted view is up the iconic mountain of Ben More, over the cascading mountain burn waterfall, Glen Dochart and the spectacular and dramatic mountains that rise up from the chalet.

All furnishings and interior design has been commissioned and installed by the award winning furniture company "BoConcept" with a Scandinavian theme throughout.

The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for nearly 40 years and offers fantastic facilities including fresh run wild salmon and trout fishing on the estate lochs and river, mountain bikes with plenty of trails on and off road for all abilities, a games room with table tennis, table football, pool table and a small gym. Canadian canoes, kayaks and rowing boats are free to use on the river and loch. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged.

Portnellan Estate is the perfect base for exploring Central/West Scotland with known landmarks only a short distance away. Oban 45 minutes, Stirling, Fort William and Glasgow just over 1 hour and Edinburgh a 90 min drive. Glen Coe and all it beholds is less than 40 mins drive and the bonnie shores of Loch Lomond are 20 mins by car. There's an open space to walk into the kitchen. The kitchen is small however fully kitted out for those days where you would rather eat in.

The main bedroom is spacious and has its own private balcony kitted out with rattan furniture perfect for a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. The 2nd room upstairs is a spacious twin room and downstairs is the 3rd room slightly smaller but still big enough for twin beds.

On days where you want to eat out there's a variety of local pubs and restaurants. If you don't want to venture far the country park has its own pub restaurant onsite.

Included in your stay you get access to the swimming pool, tennis courts, mini golf, 9 hole golf course, kids adventure play park and table tennis at no extra cost. I provide the golf clubs, tennis rackets, table tennis bats and swim floats so you don't need to rent them.

There's also 3 fishing lakes all teaming with fish to catch. Tackle shop on site for fishing equipment hire. For 2021 the hengar manor escape room has opened which has been very popular since opening.

Also remember you're in Cornwall so never far from popular beaches like fiscal beach 35 mins away in Newquay or Padstow which is 25 mins away. And many other places! The chalet is very well placed in Cornwall for day trips out.

This chalet is located in Bodmin. Bowood Park Golf Course and Camel Cycle Trail are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Cornish Coast Day Adventures and Pengenna Pasties. Spacious lounge with 2 leather sofas and French doors opening onto the front veranda decking. Bathroom/toilet with bath, Mira ATL electric shower and heated towel rail, kitchen with stainless steel twin cavity cooker, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle and coffee maker. First Floor - accessed via a steep open plan staircase, with Kiddyguard stair gates at top and bottom; landing area with separate toilet and hand basin, door to separate front bedroom with double bed. From the landing door opening to rear bedroom with two 90cm single beds which can be pushed together to make an extra double if required and space for a cot. Equipment includes ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner, clothes airer, hair dryer, high chair, travel cot, duvets and pillows - bed linen and bath towels at small extra charge are an option or bring your own if you prefer. The Chalet is all electric. Heating is via oil filled radiators and all electricity is by £1/£2 coin meter set to match our electricity company tariff. The Area
The Deal area remains steeped in history with the little changed village of Kingsdown at its heart. The history of Kingsdown dates right back with it providing a popular stopping point for walkers and cyclists travelling the Saxon Shore Way. The unspoilt foreshore of Kingsdown with its pebble beach designated a site of special scientific interest, the Zetland Arms and a scatter of traditional colourful beach huts lies a few minutes walk from Kingsdown Holiday Park. As the tide retreats and reveals a delightful array of rock pools children and adults spend many an hour enjoying their search for the shells, crabs and tiny fish within. The active can enjoy coastal walks or cycle rides along the coast to Deal, St Margaret's Bay or Dover and stop along the way for a cup of tea, an ice cream or something stronger. Along this route lie the immaculate castles of Dover, Walmer and Deal so if you are a member of English Heritage bring your membership card with you. Dover castle also provides access to the extensive tunnels which provided the Operation Centre for the Second World War emergency evacuation of soldiers from Dunkerque. There is an opportunity to cycle on from Deal to Sandwich or for the less active enjoy a delightful drive or bus ride to this riverside Medieval town with its historical buildings and boats resting by the river.

Located in Deal, this chalet is in a rural area and near the beach. Deal Maritime and Local History Museum and Dover Patrol Memorial are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Capel le Ferne Farmers Market and Westwood Cross Shopping Centre. Traveling with kids? Consider The Pines Garden and Pencester Gardens. Scuba diving and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.

Strat is light and airy in summer and warm and cosy in winter, using the latest infra-red heating panels downstairs and electric convection heaters in the bedrooms – perfect for holidays at any time of the year.

Strat has a patio area with a table and seating. Guests may make use of either a gas or charcoal barbecue during their stay.

Baby/toddler equipment, including cot, highchair, bedguards and stairgate, is available on request.

Park facilities include use of a table tennis table, volleyball court, tennis court. Crazy golf and laundry (charges apply). The swimming pool has been extensively refurbished in 2020 booked sessions available free of charge.
Located in Kent within the White Cliffs Country on the coast between Dover and Deal, Kingsdown Park overlooks the English Channel in the charming seaside village of Kingsdown. Eat out in one of the three village pubs or further afield.

Ground Floor - one rear bedroom with 90cm bunk beds and a rear dining room opening onto the patio with garden furniture for six; spacious lounge with 2 leather sofas and doors opening onto the front veranda decking; bathroom/toilet, bath with Mira electric shower over and heated towel rail; kitchen with stainless steel oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle and coffee maker.

First Floor - accessed via a steep open plan staircase with stair gates at top and bottom; landing area with toilet and hand basin, door to the front bedroom with double bed, built in hanging space and bedside draws; off the landing door opening to separate rear bedroom with two 90cm single beds, which can be pushed together to make a double, and space for a travel cot. Equipment includes ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner, clothes airer, hair dryer, high chair, travel cot, duvets and pillows - bed linen and bath towels at extra charge but bring your own if you prefer. Electric heating with oil filled radiators; £1 coin electricity meter set to match our electricity company tariff. We ask guests to leave the chalet clean and as you would wish to find it and either replace broken items or leave a contribution for us to do so.

NB: Car Parking in private car park (permit supplied) 400 meters away from the chalet, no cars on the park at any time. Trolleys provided to transport luggage from the car park, please look on google maps if you have restricted mobility issues.

Kent Downs and East Cliff And Warren Country Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Deal Maritime and Local History Museum and Dover Patrol Memorial. Traveling with kids? Welcome to Sunny View our lovely holiday chalet in a private holiday village on the Isle of Wight. This self catering accommodation is set in a secluded part of the Island with access to the beach. The chalet is well presented and large enough to accommodate a family of 4 for a comfortable relaxing holiday. Sunny View has two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin room, a family bathroom with bath and shower and an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with full height windows and a view across The Solent to Hurst Castle.

We made extensive updates to Sunny View in 2018. Changes include new laminate flooring in the lounge/kitchen and new carpets in the bedrooms, new bedroom furniture in twin room and a new bed and furniture in the double room. A range of other new items including cutlery, crockery, light fittings and furniture in the lounge area. A new smart Television, connected to WiFi (which is supplied free of charge) and a radio/CD player can be found in the lounge area. USB charging points are available in the lounge, kitchen and both bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with a built in oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A new picnic style table is outside on the patio with a parasol for shade if needed. In 2019 the chalet has had a new roof, with additional insulation, assisting the central heating to keep Sunny View warm in the winter. Further updates have included new sofas, new dishwasher, washer drier, dining chairs, microwave and washing line.

The chalet has the facilities you would expect including WiFi access, smart TV with DVD player, a selection of books, xbox 360 games console and traditional board games, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and bedrooms. Facilities are provided to sit outside on the patio, eating, relaxing and enjoying the amazing view across towards the mainland and Hurst Castle. Bed linen and towels are included in the hire price but please bring your own beach towels. Sunny View has gas central heating and all gas, water and electricity are included in the price. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the property, and Sunny View does not accept pets.


The bedrooms are well appointed with wardrobes and plenty of drawer space. Bedside lamps and mirrors are in both rooms and a hairdryer is also provided. The double bedroom has a 4ft 6in black metal frame bed and the twin room two white wooden frame beds, allowing plenty of room for storage of cases underneath. Both bedrooms have DAB clock radios. Additional blankets and pillows are available on request from the owners. A cot and high chair can supplied if requested in advance, if the cot is requested 1 single bed will be removed from the twin room and the cot put in its place


On site facilities include charging for electric vehicles, laundry, pitch and putt, nine hole mini golf course, crazy golf childrens play area, football pitch. gym trail and extensive grassed areas. Access to the beach and amazing views of the Needles and Hurst Castle are just a short walk away. There are some charges for use of the on site facilities, via the site management office. Access to golf balls and clubs, tennis rackets and balls is free of charge in the launderette.


Nearby attractions include the Needles Pleasure Park at Alum Bay with the coloured sands and chairlift, Freshwater Golf Course, Dimbola Lodge and photographic museum, and Farringford House the former home of Alfred Lord Tennyson. Other local activities include horse riding, water sports, walking alpacas, fossil hunting and access to an extensive walking and cycling experience that is the Isle of Wight. Afton Down and Tennyson Down are among the most popular and spectacular walks


Freshwater and Yarmouth are a short drive away with local shops and eating places including the Red Lion in Freshwater, a favourite eating place for visitors. Yarmouth is a historic town, with a Tudor castle with the ferry from Lymington arriving here, here you will find a range of local shops and eating places to delight you. Travelling further afield you will find the magic of Osborne House (Queen Victoria's former home) located in East Cowes, Blackgang Chine at the southern tip of the Island near Chale, Carisbrooke Castle on the outskirts of Newport and many other Isle of Wight attractions

The Chalet
Sunny VIew, 87 Brambles Chine is a self catering, single storey bungalow on a relatively level site. The bungalow is set back approximately 16 metres from a tarmac road accessed across grass. Car Parking is between 25-50 metres from the bungalow. Access to the bungalow is up one step. The minimum door width in the bungalow is 74cm. There is an audio smoke alarm and an audio carbon monoxide alarm. The bungalow is level within and has a shower over the bath. No special facilities are provided. There are no handrails in the bungalow. Pets are not accepted with the exception of guide dogs. Pillows and duvets are hollow fibre filled.
The Site
The site has a reception approximately 50 metres from the bungalow, which has level access. Staff have no special training to deal with specific requirements. There is a coin operated launderette on site and an access ramp can be supplied on request, via the site office, although the approach is over a loose gravel surface. There is a large outdoor leisure area although no special facilities are available for disabled guests. Access to the beach is via a steep slipway and steps

Getting There
The site is approximately 4km from Yarmouth vehicle/passenger ferry terminal from where taxis are usually available, and is 800m from the nearest bus stop. Vehicular access to the site is practical although via an unadopted road which is in a variable condition


Located in Freshwater, this chalet is in a rural area and on the waterfront. The Needles Battery and Dimbola Lodge are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Hurst Castle and Fort Victoria Country Park. Traveling with kids? Consider The Needles Landmark Attraction and Lymington Sea Water Baths. Windsurfing and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
