The fenland in the SouthEast of Lincolnshire attracts nature-lovers, with a number of reserves and country parks, including the seal colony at Donna Nook.
The county town of Lincoln has a Roman history and a magnificent cathedral, while one of only four remaining copies of the Magna Carta is held at Lincoln Castle, recognising that the Bishop of Lincoln was one of the witnesses to its signing.
