Sandown Holiday Park is an often-overlooked hidden gem of a location, situated in Yaverland, at the far end of Sandown Bay, where the long rows of wooden groynes opens up to vast areas of unspoilt sand. Number 36, has an excellent uninterrupted views of the Bay, from it's corner plot location, a stones throw from the coastal path along the cliff top and towards the beach.

The chalet has recently been fully refurbished and is very well maintained self-catering holiday property, ideal for a relaxing holiday on the Isle of Wight.

There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double divan bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds. In addition to the sofabed, there is also a dining table and chairs for 4 in the living area. The power to the property is supplied by a coin fed electricity meter which accepts £1 & £2 coins.

The sandy beaches of Sandown Bay are within easy walking distance, as are popular attractions along the seafront, such as The wildlife sanctuary, Dinosaur Isle and the new crazy golf course and playground at Sandham. There are some excellent bars and restaurants along the seafront, all with great sea views and a walking distance from the Chalet, so you can leave the car behind.

The cabins have been designed and hand built at Brosterfield, providing a unique Peak District getaway. Each cabin has a relaxing sofa area which takes in the fanatic views and a good sized kitchen area with a double hob, fridge and combi-microwave oven. The kitchen is fitted out with everything you will need for a stay. The en-suite shower room are a good size with large showers.



Parking is at the base of the field, so as to not disturb the quietness and wildlife. Each cabin is just a few steps to their front door.

Waterfall Retreat sits in a quiet cul-de-sac, with a lovely water feature nearby, behind a private gated section of the park, adding a calmer quality not seen with other lodges. There is also private parking for your car adjacent to the lodge.

Rockley Park has a host of fun activities to do, including an indoor and outdoor pool, water park with waterslide & splash pool, crazy golf, bungee trampolines, archery, Segways, climbing walls, tennis courts, and kids entertainment — most of which can be accessed via the park’s Play Passes, which need to be purchased in advance (please message us for more information).

Nearby to the lodge are a collection of bars and restaurants, such as the Mash and Barrel, Cook’s Fish & Chips, Papa John’s Pizza; in addition to a convenience shop, selling a wide variety of goods; and a laundrette. Rockley Park makes for an ideal holiday park for both couples and families alike.

Location and activities
This detached lodge lies in Kenwick Woods at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, near the Georgian market town of Louth. The woods are part of the grounds of Kenwick Park Estate and are home to Kenwick Park Hotel, The Club Spa@Kenwick and Kenwick Golf Club.
The lodge is situated about half a mile from the hotel and the spa and close to the 12th fairway. Guests, with an appropriate handicap, wishing to use the private course can apply to do so. The hotel bar and restaurant are open to non-residents and a range of beauty treatments are offered at The ClubSpa@Kenwick.

Complimentary access to Magna Vita Leisure is available for guests during their stay. The Meridian Leisure Centre is approximately 1.5 miles from the Lodge and has an eight lane pool for swimmers, a kid’s pool and flume, an 80 station Gymnasium and a cafe overlooking the pool area.

The family swim sessions have to be booked in advance at reception (phone number for reception 01945 871007)This can be done seven days in advance of your stay it is on a first come first serve basis you can join in with yoga, Pilates, aqua aerobics and any of the classes provided just book at reception again there is a reduced rate charged.

There is also a cafeteria with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. The 19th hole, spikes bar and restaurant has a great menu
