Town: Corfe Castle is a historic settlement and civil parish in the English county of Dorset, dominated by its ruined castle of the same name, which is owned by the National Trust. On the highway between Wareham and Swanage, the settlement overlooks the Purbeck Hills and provides easy access to both the seaside and the surrounding countryside. This area, which includes portions of the Jurassic Coast, is ideal for individuals interested in outdoor exploration, as it offers fantastic walking paths, stunning seascapes, and close access to the Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve and Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserves. The village is home to a variety of amenities, including a village shop, gift shop, Post Office, and a number of pubs and restaurants, while its best attractions are the Model Village & Gardens, Purbeck Mineral & Mining Museum, Dorset Adventure Park, the Boiler Gallery, and, of course, the 1,000-year-old Corfe Castle itself. The Purbeck Big Apple Maize Maze is also easily accessible for those seeking a family-friendly day out, while the coastal town of Swanage is well worth the journey to discover its Blue Flag and Seaside Award-winning beach, with ample opportunities for coasteering, abseiling, climbing, paddle-boarding, and kayaking, while the bay offers scuba diving for those looking to try something new. Discover the Swanage Railway, Durlston Castle and Country Park, the Swanage Museum, and a variety of shops and restaurants, or venture further afield to Bournemouth and Weymouth for even more family-friendly attractions.

Located in Wareham, this lodge is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Durdle Door and RSPB Arne, while The Tank Museum and Bournemouth Pavillion Theatre are cultural highlights. The Blue Pool and Tea House and Sandbanks Beach are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking/biking trails and cycling in the area.
