In the depths of rural Herefordshire, famous for cider, cattle and black and white properties. We offer three brand new very select Glamping units in the form of fully furnished five metre bell tents, with your own en-suite shower, vanity unit and compost toilet. King size beds with luxury mattresses, cotton linen, table and chairs, scatter rugs, hot water bottles ,cuddly throws for extra warmth, clever none electric lighting, storage and log burner.
We include kindling, wood and charcoal at no extra cost.
We are off grid with no electric but when night falls the field transforms into a twinkling space with clever solar lighting. In the kitchen you will find a quality torch.
Outside your own fire pit barbecue and seating area. You have your own individual kitchen unit with gas rings and utilities for that well earned cup of tea or culinary delight. The site is off grid with no electricity, but we offer a courtesy charging station and fridge freezer near to the house.
Couples only, allows quiet, peaceful, romantic times, nestled in a very private old perry pear orchard, with an abundance of wild flowers and nature. The owls at night should be your only sounds as you gaze at the famously clear starlit skies of Herefordshire.
Glamping at the homestead is set on New House Farm, that is a working breading centre for old traditional poultry breeds. The owner will always be pleased to show you around and explain if you are interested, in how it all works from egg to egg laying.
The surrounding area hosts many footpaths direct from the farm to the beautiful countryside beyond.
Local villages have most requirements you need from the traditional butcher, village stores, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Hay-on-Wye the renowned book town is close by, with its castle, walks on the banks of the Wye and mountainous Hay Bluff, interesting buildings and of course world famous books.
The area has exceptional fishing, pony trekking, canoeing, walking, and is good for cycling. Many beautiful pubs to explore and less than two hours from the stunning welsh coastline and welsh border country views surround you.

The 5M Bell Tent has everything you could want and outside you will find a bespoke hot shower, vanity unit with hot water and a compost toilet which is simple and easy to use with no odour whatsoever and very environmentally friendly for your exclusive use - no sharing. We have created your own personal kitchen which is stocked with everything from an egg cup, bottle opener in fact as a guest commented "you have thought of everything". We provide tea, coffee, sugar on your arrival just in case. There is washing up liquid, antibac cleaner and soap and salt & pepper grinders and oil for your convenience.
