Trull is 2.5 miles away from Taunton, the county town of Somerset. We are situated in beautiful countryside and farmland and can boast uninterrupted 360 degree panoramic views.
The Chalet Somerset was completed in 2013 and is constructed from Douglas Fir. It is a beautiful one bedroom hi spec fully equipped self catering apartment with separate lounge/kitchen and bathroom.

There is a picturesque floor to ceiling gable end window and also a raised decking area for you to enjoy al fresco dining or simply sit and admire the wonderful views.

Our chickens are also an integral part of our family and we would encourage you to wander down into the orchard and collect freshly laid eggs for your breakfast.

Wimbleball Reservoir offering windsailing and fishing is two miles distant, with trout fishing also available within five minutes walk. Dunster, with its fine castle and reputation as being the "prettiest village on Exmoor", is just a scenic 20 minute drive, whilst the coastal town of Minehead, and further beaches at Blue Anchor Bay and the famously picturesque Weir at Porlock are also easily accessible.

This charming hut is the second one at Bye Mills on the River Chew and we a have taken our experience and feedback from the first hut to make this even more special. We encourage you to take break from everyday life and enjoy being in the moment. With TV, WiFi to connect to your music streaming service to the blue tooth speaker whilst you take in the unique location, observe our mass of wildlife and enjoy being with each other without the distractions of everyday life.

At night the garden makes a magical setting to sit with a fire and listen to the nearby wier, stargaze and listen to the owls. By day the beauty of the setting, the birdsong, glimpses of kingfishers and otters make this place magical.

If you choose we are 12 miles west of Bath, 5 miles south of Bristol, close to Wells and Cheddar Gorge - all worth exploring. Alternatively just stay local and find out what the Chew Valley has to offer.

Bye Mills Farm is no longer a working farm but home to my family of 4. The paddock is at the far side of our large rural garden. We will give you space and privacy and will rarely see each other, there may be walkers along the river but for the most part the hut is private

Entrance to the property is up one step and over the threshold, through the double doors into the pod. A table and chairs and comfortable chair is located just inside the door, and the king-sized bed with bed-side tables and a selection of books to enjoy. The kitchen area is located at the rear of the pod and the shower room.
