Seaview Mansion has been lovingly transformed by its current owners and today boasts luxurious interiors and modern furnishings, comfortably accommodating up to twenty-two guests across its eleven well-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor is the main entertaining space which comprises of two elegant reception rooms, a living room with fireplace and fabulous sea views and a fabulous cinema room with 86” TV as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need and a spacious dining room. The first of the bedrooms, a king-size room, can be found on the ground floor.Upstairs on the first floor are a further seven bedrooms, one super-king room, two king-size rooms, each with en-suite shower rooms as well as a double room with en-suite bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms share the use of a family bathroom. On the second and final floor are the remaining bedrooms, one twin room, while the remaining two can be set up on request with either twin beds or a double bed, making them ideal for siblings, friends or a couple. These rooms share the use of two family bathrooms. Outside, guests will enjoy half an acre of gardens with plenty of lawned space for the children to enjoy! Spend an evening on the terrace enjoying a yummy barbecue al fresco while making the most of the brilliant sea views, as the sun begins to set, take a dip in the luxurious hot tub, the perfect way to relax in style! Seaview Mansion is located just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Oban and a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and shops. Oban with its busy port is known as “The Gateway to the Isles”, from here (and depending on season) guests can visit a number of popular nearby islands including; Kerrera, Lismore, Mull, Iona and Staffa. For keen whisky drinkers, the Oban Distillery is one of Scotland’s oldest sources of Single Malt Scotch Whisky and one of the smallest scotch distilleries and is therefore a must visit while you are in Oban. For children, the local leisure centre is less than a 5-minute walk from the house and with its swimming pool and soft play area it makes a fantastic place to occupy the children should you have any rain! On a sunny day, the whole family will enjoy a walk up to McCaig’s Tower where beautiful views over Oban and beyond can be enjoyed. The closest airport to Seaview Mansion is Glasgow which is just over two hours from the house.

Take a canoe down the River Glass, or if fishing is your thing, guests are welcome to fish free-of-charge for trout along our 5 kilometers of wild and pristine river bank. Salmon fishing can also be arranged.

This lovely cabin provides comfortable, self catering accommodation in a stunning location.

It is situated on a large plot less than 100 yards from the loch, with hot tub and raised veranda. 

The accommodation consists of open plan Living area, dining area and kitchen, double bedroom, triple-bunk room, family shower room and entrance hall.

The living / dining area has a wood burning stove, vaulted ceiling, Freesat Satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), sofa & easy chair and a fold away dining table. Patio doors open onto a raised veranda with electric hot tub, overlooking the loch.

The kitchen is well equipped, with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery etc.

Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet & heater.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, clothes storage and bed side table.

Bedroom 2 has three bunk beds, clothes storage and bed side cabinet.

The entrance hall is an ideal area for coats and boots and has a chest freezer.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture and sunken hot tub, a BBQ / fire pit area and ample grounds.

As well as beautiful scenery the grounds and surrounding woodland provide an outstanding habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species. Red Squirrel and Pine Marten are relatively common and many bird species inhabit the area. A great location for wildlife watchers and nature lovers.

The cabin is timber lined throughout, double glazed, well heated and suitable for year round use.

Use of hot tub if required is chargeable at extra £109. Please advise if this is required when booking.

All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. This is a non smoking cabin. Dogs are welcome at extra £20 each per stay.

Our lodge overlooks Leanachan Forrest and has some beautiful views. we live in a quiet remote area just one mile out of Spean Bridge, 8 miles/10km from Fort William (the home of Ben Nevis) and only 4 miles/6km from Nevis Range ski resort.

The area also offers many outdoor activities such as downhill biking, skiing, climbing, mountaineering, stunning scenic walks, fishing and lots more.

The space
Our lodge has been hand-crafted using local materials and is unique in every way!

All of the materials used to build our lodge have been locally and ethically sourced from the surrounding area. It has been built by a local craftsman - Norman Clark (Clark Pods).

The external wood (Larch) has been sourced from Loch Arkaig and the internal wood (Douglas Fir) has been sourced from Loch Ness. The insulation is 100% pure sheep wool.

The area is over 40² mtrs. It has a parking space for two cars and is fully enclosed.

There is a large picnic bench and outdoor furniture.

There is a large secure shed within the enclosed area to store all your large outdoor equipment eg. mountain bikes, skis and muddy boots.

Please hang your wet/dirty kit - boots, wellies, coats etc, on the hooks, hangers and boot rack that is provided in the shed as the space in the lodge is limited.

There is also an outdoor tap to wash everything down.

We have a large Driveway that can accommodate 2/3 cars. please be careful when reversing.
Other things to note
The West Highland Train Line runs adjacent to the property which is considered by many to be the most scenic rail journey in the world. 4 scheduled trains pass each day from Glasgow/Fort William (first at 08:00 am and last at 10:00 pm and possibly 2 freight trains in between, it is not a busy line and if you are lucky you might see the Jacobite Steam Train (Harry Potter Train) or the Flying Scotsman.

Crowlin is our ‘most returned to’ Lodge. It has a warm cosy feel with a beautiful larch tree outside the window and lots of birds in the trees. Our local fox has been spotted a few times outside the lodge looking up longingly at the fat balls hanging in the tree for the birds!
