Living - You enter Barn Owl Lodge via a covered porch in to a boot room with coat hooks and a seat to help take the weight off your feet after an active day. The living room, dining area and kitchen are perfectly sized and offer all the amenities you require for a short break or holiday in the lodge.
A comfortable corner sofa is the perfect position to enjoy the large TV, whilst underneath, the fire sets the tone for the perfect, cosy feel. The kitchen in our Woodland Lodges has all modern conveniences you may need including fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, wine cooler, dishwasher, oven and washer dryer. All kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware are provided. The family bathroom completes the downstairs with a large bath and overhead shower. Bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are all provided.
Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with king-size bed and a second bedroom with twin single beds. Throughout High Oaks Grange you will find luxury Hypnos mattresses in every bedroom, the ultimate mattresses for rest and relaxation.
Entertainment - We have the whole family covered with our smart entertainment system in Barn Owl Lodge. Downstairs you will find a 40' LCD Smart TV with Google Chromecast, bringing thousands of movies, live sport* and catch up TV to your fingertips. Outside - Outside Barn Owl Lodge there is a large decked area with outdoor seating. The BBQ is perfect for some al fresco dining as well as a covered hot tub to relax in whatever the weather. Parking is available for one car at each lodge with further parking available onsite. Each lodge also has a bike rack for added security.
Dogs - We know how much fun it is to bring your dog on holiday with you, however we also understand dogs are not everyone's cup of tea so we have both dog friendly and dog free lodges available. Barn Owl Lodge is dog friendly - charges apply.

The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens. With more to see, a short drive brings you to the town of Scarborough, appreciated for its family activities.
Located in Filey, this lodge is in a rural area. West Avenue Pitch and Putt and Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Treasure Island Mini Golf and Gala Bingo. Traveling with kids? Consider South Cliff Italian Gardens and Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre. The lounge/dining room faces large picture windows with patio doors to a decked area. There are comfortable settees and occasional tables as well as free to air Sky television with DVD player. A log burning stove gives that cosy country living touch. The stove is closed, but can get hot. You may need to bring a fireguard for your toddlers.
The kitchen is fitted with dishwasher (and tabs), fridge (including a small freezer section), gas oven, microwave and all cutlery, crockery and utensils.
There are two bedrooms, both of which have their own en-suite shower room. One bedroom is a double and the second bedroom is a twin bedded room.
All our lodges (and our house) are heated from our newly installed biomass District Heating System, using locally sourced timber (non of that funny pellet stuff for us!)
