Rowanburn Lodge is a beautiful cedar lodge overlooking the historic Duke's Pond. The lodge is located on the edge of Greystoke Forest, with views looking towards Blencathra and the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park. The lodge has a large, gated, decking area with garden furniture, overlooking the pond and an extensive natural garden with alternative sitting areas so you can enjoy the sun or shade while you unwind. The garden is an oasis for watching wildlife as it is frequently visited by a wide variety of birds, red squirrels and roe deer. It's southerly / westerly facing orientation and canopy of trees provide the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The lodge itself provides excellent accommodation for up to six people. It is very well equipped and beautifully furnished, offering a large open plan kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining and lounge area promote a wonderfully social holiday atmosphere with two sets of French doors that open onto the gated decked area to extend the living and dining space. The large shed to the rear of the lodge provides storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment. The lodge is all on one level, with easy access from the parking area right next to the lodge. The centres of Penrith and Keswick are approximately a 20 / 25 minute drive from the lodge, through fabulous scenery, giving you access to all the facilities and attractions you may need for a wonderful holiday.

Blencathra pod is equipped with a sofa bed in the lounge (suitable for 2 children or 1 adult) overlooking the Smart TV. The outdoor balcony decked area has a fire pit and BBQ (upon request) and a further decked area with chairs and there is also a picnic bench and fire pit.
