The characterful Clock Coach House holds a wonderful countryside position within the beautiful county of Shropshire. While guests will enjoy a tranquil escape, the home is just fifteen minutes from the ancient market town of Bridgnorth where a wide variety of excellent amenities, including shops and restaurants, can be found.
Built in the early 19th Century, the Grade II listed Georgian home has been lovingly modernised while still retaining all of its original charm and character features, including arched display recesses, sash windows and of course, the period clock tower. Clock Coach House can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across its five well-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor is the impressive living accommodation which offers plenty of room for socialising and comprises of a spacious drawing room and bright conservatory with garden views. For history enthusiasts, National Trust-owned 17th century Dudmaston Estate makes a picturesque setting for a lakeside stroll and is just 10-minutes away. Slightly further afield, 18thcentury Attingham Park Estate, 13th century Stokesay Castle and 11th century Ludlow Castle, each make for fascinating days out and are all within a 50-minute drive of the home. For families, popular West Midlands Safari Park is just 20-minutes away while Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World are 45-minutes away.
Fairfield is a detached single-storey lodge resting in Clee Hill, Shropshire. Hosting one bedroom, with a king-size bed, TV and en-suite shower room, this property can sleep up to two guests. The Studio is in a tranquil woodland valley, so you can choose to just stay around The Studio relaxing outside in the garden or inside with the books and games we provide. There are also lots of woodland walks on your doorstep. Or, if you want to get out and about, The Studio is also less than a 15 minute drive to the beautiful market town of Ludlow, and has good access to many local attractions, including plenty of activities for families.
We provide some basic food items (including freshly baked bread and slices of cake) for guests on arrival, so you don't have to rush straight out to the shops. If you send a shopping list we are happy to purchase items from the village shop ready for your arrival - you can pop into the shop to pay during your stay.

Although a private space, our family home is nearby & we will happily provide you with local information/recommendations on where to explore, although we warn you that you may not want to leave!
