A short drive away is the historic market town bawtry this boasts great bars/ restaurants and lovely local shops.
The town Gainsborough is 10 minutes drive from the lodges here you will find old Gainsborough hall which was built between 1460 -1480. There is also a small market town.
The train runs from Gainsborough to Lincoln here you will find a bustling city with lots of art, culture, great places to eat and most famously Lincoln cathedral this city makes a great day out.
