With central heating and underfloor heating in the bathroom, the accommodation is cosy and beautifully decorated in a coastal style.

A well equipped kitchen comes with a washing machine, microwave, fridge, gas hob and electric oven. There is gas central heating and a combi boiler for instant hot water.
The chalet is in an extremely quiet location, open your windows and all you can hear is the sea and birdsong. Please note there are steps down from the road before reaching our villa which would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.
Ventnor is a fantastic, quirky Victorian seaside town.
It is easy to reach by car or public transport. The beach is beautiful with excellent water quality for swimming. Voted in the top 10 UK seaside destinations 2018 by Countryfile and the Guardian. There are many pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes open all year to suit all budgets. The scenery is spectacular, great for walking and as a base to explore the island. Steephill cove is around a 30 minute walk from Seaglass along the coastal path, and is well worth a visit - very secluded and unspoilt. The Isle of Wight itself has many historical attractions including Osborne House, the home of Queen Victoria where she lived out the rest of her life after Prince Albert died. Carisbrooke Castle, where Charles I was imprisoned before his execution is a bus ride away near Newport. He also lived in Ventnor for some of his incarceration on the island. Ventnor is also home to St Boniface Downs, the highest point on the island with spectacular views, grazing cattle and goats.
We have only independently owned cafes, shops and restaurants which gives the town a very unique feel. Ventnor has a strong sense of community and always offers a warm welcome to visitors.
There is a great bus service all over the island. Driving is easy as the roads are good. One of the best places in Europe for cycling on or off road. The walking is amazing as most of the island is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There are a number of different ways to get to the island. For foot passengers there is the hovercraft, fastcat and redjet. By car take either the Wightlink or Red Funnel car ferry. We can provide 15% discount codes for both companies.
Ventnor is a beautiful area with a Mediterranean feel. Favoured by the Victorians due to its very mild climate and clean air, it was a very popular winter holiday destination and retains most of its Victorian charm and architecture.
Both Charles Dickens and Karl Marx lived here for a while.

This chalet is located in Ventnor. Old St Boniface Church and Shanklin Old Village are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Ventnor Park and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf. Traveling with kids?
