On arrival to the Brown Horse Inn head to your designated parking area and follow the path that leads up to the Woodland Pods. Whitbarrow is the second on your left. Enter the pod from your private outside terrace through large patio doors to a beautiful room with a comfy King size bed, kitchenette area with a table and chairs and a spacious and modern ensuite shower room with bath robes.

Take a deep breath and relax… enjoy a drink on the terrace whilst soaking up those views.. or perhaps head down to the Inn for a scrumptious meal and a little tipple. For those with children, a play area is on site to keep them entertained while you simply carry on relaxing.

Hayton is a rural village 3 miles from Brampton in the north east of the Cumbria. There is easy access to Hadrian's Wall, Lake Ullswater, Historic Carlisle and the North East, making it an ideal base from which to explore this much quieter corner of Cumbria. The village inn promises a warm welcome and serves delicious meals. Brampton also has a number of pubs, restaurant and take aways and the County capital, Carlisle is a short drive with facilities to keep old and young alike entertained. The natural beauty spot of Talkin Tarn and Gelt Woods are a short drive and perfect for a romantic walk, or the children will enjoy exploring the woodlands and the play area adjacent to the pods. Hadrian's Wall is close by for walkers and the quieter country roads and rolling countryside is perfect for keen walkers and cyclists or head to the Lake District, only 20 minutes away, to enjoy some mountain hikes and scenery. With three golf courses within easy reach, watersports at Talkin Tarn and pony trekking there really is something for everyone.

These six luxurious pods are located on the owners working farm on a site with panoramic views of the Northern Lake District fells, across to the Solway and then out to South West Scotland. The area is surrounded by peace and tranquillity, perfect for families wanting to reconnect with nature or for couples looking for a romantic ‘get away from it all' break. Each lodge has its own picnic bench and fire pit with some having electric hydrotherapy hot tubs and open views across the countryside to the Lake District fells beyond.

Children stay free, please bring your own bedding for children or we can arrange additional bedding and towels for a small charge.

White Cleugh pod is a luxury lodge style pods with a decked balcony area and 4 person electric hydrotherapy hot tub. The lodge style pod has a kitchen with full size electric fan oven in addition to the microwave, full size fridge and electric hob. Lounge with a sofa bed (suitable for 2 children or 1 adult) overlooking the Smart TV. Each has a double bed and en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. The outdoor balcony decked area has a fire pit and BBQ (upon request) and a further decked area with chairs and there is also a picnic bench and fire pit.


All properties have electric heating, bed linen, dressing gowns and towels. Private patio area with picnic bench, BBQ and firepit. Private parking for 2 cars and secure bike storage can be arranged. The owners can supply BBQs (gas or charcoal), fire pit packs with marshmallows and skewers for a small supplement.

Each pods has a double bed and a small double sofa bed and can sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.
